White House personnel investigated for improper foreign contact

White House military personnel removed amid investigation into contacts with foreign women during Trump’s Asia trip

According to the Post, the Pentagon is "scrutinizing" the "behavior" of the personnel during the Vietnam portion of Trump's 12-day Asia trip earlier this month, which allegedly included breaking curfew and "improper contact with foreign women".

The White House Communications Agency comprises former service members who provide "vital information services and communications support to the president and his staff".

Military officials confirmed that the DOD was investigating the men who, if charged, could face a court martial.

"We are aware of the incident, and it is now under investigation", Wright said.

The mission of the White House Communications Agency is to prevent eavesdropping on presidential communications and to ensure that White House officials can be securely reached worldwide at a moment's notice.

The officials stated the three members the curfew while in Vietnam, and their actions are now being carefully inspected by the military.

The soldiers were brought back to the country ahead of Pence and were immediately removed from White House detail. The agency employs 1,200 staffers from all branches of the military. "The secret service takes all allegations of misconduct seriously".

This sort of thing has happened before, and not just under the Trump administration-in 2012, the Obama administration faced scrutiny after 13 Secret Service agents and officers were accused of taking prostitutes back to their hotel rooms in Cartagena, Colombia.

The incident happened when the US security services were preparing for former President Barack Obama's visit to Cartagena, Colombia. Ten lost their jobs. In his testimony before Congress, then-Secret Service director Mark Sullivan said that while the situation was humiliating, there was never any risk to the president.
