New missile attack reported in Syria

"We're letting Russian Federation know this is not something that we want to be a part of", U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley told "Fox News Sunday". There will be more.

Since Syria joined the OPCW in 2013, "we have sought to use diplomatic channels.to stop chemical weapons use in Syria but our efforts have been repeatedly thwarted", Wilson said.

"It looked awfully to me as though the prime minister was more interested in following Donald Trump's lead than anything else", Corbyn said. "We'll watch his actions".

As the diplomatic fallout of Saturday's airstrikes continued, the United Kingdom on Monday accused Russian Federation and Syria of blocking experts from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) from accessing Douma, the site of the suspected gas attack.

The attack on 7 April prompted military strikes on Syrian government targets by the US, UK, and France a week later.

A Kremlin statement said they agreed "that this illegal action is adversely impacting prospects for political settlement in Syria". "We convinced him it was necessary to remain there", he said.

Syria and Russian Federation are not allowing a fact-finding mission by the world's chemical weapons watchdog to enter Douma to investigate an alleged poisonous gas attack, a British diplomat said on Monday. "All of the news that I'm seeing is about strategy, how we should attack".

Meanwhile, Mr Rouhani accused the United States "and some Western countries" of not wanting Syria "to reach permanent stability".

The leaders of Russian Federation and Iran have reaffirmed mutual cooperation on issues involving Syria following US-led missile strikes against the country last week.

"Assad knew that Russian Federation had its back, Assad knew that Russian Federation would cover for them at the United Nations, and Assad got reckless, and he used it in a way that was far more aggressive", she said.

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said the United Kingdom has to "take every possible precaution" to prepare for possible revenge cyber attacks on targets like the NHS and electrical facilities.

The ministers said the European Union "understands" the need for the coordinated U.S, French and British airstrikes against Syrian regime targets following the suspected April 7 chemical attack in Douma. As the missiles hit their targets and anti-aircraft guns lit up the sky, hundreds of people took to the streets of Damascus to protest the strike.

Mr Assad was described by the Russians as being in a good mood, a day after the airstrikes destroyed three chemical weapons facilities.

Theresa May will go before the Commons on Monday to answer questions about her decision, after insisting there was no "alternative path".

British ambassador Wilson urged the OPCW "to act to hold perpetrators to account", saying failure to do so "will only risk further barbaric use of chemical weapons, in Syria and beyond".

Assad's government has denied ever using toxic chemicals in the course of its seven-year civil war, although previous OPCW missions have detected toxic substances. But late Saturday, senior administration officials called the evidence "incontrovertible".

The Chairman of the Syrian American Council in Orlando, Jaber Nyrabeah, agrees with the President's decision to strike.

"The team has not yet deployed to Douma", two days after arriving in Syria, Uzumcu told an executive council of the OPCW in The Hague.
